...so overwhelmed that I'm having a blast!
I'm working 6-days a week now, (story later,) and trying to get one friend un-homeless by taking him for his child support hearing up north.
He's working and wants to pay.
I'm keeping my friends inside updated with "Crap Magazine", my anti-magazine of internet news to keep them in touch with the real world so they can fit in when they get out.
That 6-days a week "job" I'm working?
4 days I'm a smog tech, and two days I work at Golden Gate Fields as a Pari-Mutuel clerk selling tickets at the Horse Races.
I'm doing my fantastic, (*to me!) hikes.
I'm doing my photography and making my video's.
I'm posting them on my Youtube channel and my websites.
But I need some help here.
There's no synergy.
I need more than just me to make this work.
I have the tools to help others get a new life, no matter how they got to where they are now.
You know, it's kinda like I have the hammer's, saws, and nails, and I can help you with the design, but YOU have to decide WHAT you're building.
And YOU have to do the work, sorta.
It's like, I can do the research for you, but I can't understand for you.
You have to do that yourself.
Do you want a real life or not?
I guarantee you can do it if you try, and you pick the proper tools for the job.
First off: What did your old dreams used to be?
You know, before all of this?
PLUS:
Remember that first time you went to jail?
Think hard!
This is important.
You shielded yourself.
You built a white light shield over yourself, then constructed the proper jail-responses over that.
Find that shield!
Then crack it from the inside, just like a chick hatching from an egg!
This is the beginning of finding your real life!
Jail responses put you back in jail.
You need responses designed for real life.
Period.
Find those old dreams.
Start to follow them.
They will possibly peter out but they will organically lead to your next new dreams.
What interested you before?
What turned you on, (besides sex, or stupid stuff like drugs?)
When you tear this giant thing out from the center of your chest, this 'whatever-it-is', you have to fill that space with something.
Nature abhors a vacuum.
If you don't conscientiously and intentionally build something in there of your own design; the old thing, or something worse will fill that space in your heart and soul.
Do you want a real life or not?
You can belive in whatever religion or belief you want to, but it all comes down to the basics:
Do good where possible, but do no harm.
Fill the space inside of you with things that make you feel good and do good for those around you.
Don't be greedy.
And one of the best ways you can succeed. is to show the way to the guy behind you!
That very idea is what makes AA work.
You see, when he started AA, it worked for him, but it wasn't working for others as well
When he studied why not he came to the conclusion that it worked for him better because he was helping the guy behind him.
They weren't.
This is my paraphrase of something I think I learned a long time ago, so it may be wrong, but...
It is still a good lesson.
It is easier to fail the guy above you, because he always had it easier than you.
It's much harder to fail the guy behind you, the guy who's depending on you so that he can make it.
That's why AA has almost zero paid employees, and that's why it has such a decent success rate.
It's all built on helping the guy behind you and taking responsibility.
So, one of the big things I have to really try to accomplish is to get my buddy Drew out.
Almost against their will, in a way, by proving he is a much better asset to society outside than inside.
He is, but what can I say in 300 words that will prove that.
Or, what can I say in 300 words that will interest them enough to do a measly 1,000 words?
What can I say?
It's time.
And I need the help.
